What are hearing assistive technology systems?
Hearing assistive technology systems (HATS) are devices that can help you function better in your day-to-day communication situations. HATS can be used with or without hearing aids or cochlear implants to make hearing easier—and thereby reduce stress and fatigue. Hearing aids + HATS = better listening and better communication.
The following situations are difficult for all listeners, but they are especially difficult for people with hearing loss
Asistive technology refers to the devices or system that provides people with practical solutions to everyday life situation.
THE ASISTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR PEOPLE WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENT
Text telephone or Captioned allows the user to see texts of their telephone conversation as well as access relay services.
Telephone Relay with voice carry over, this device helps to utilize the relay service to have what is said by the hearing person they called typed for them to read and they can speak for themselves.
Web camera or Computer many individuals utilize the combination of the web camera and computer internet services to able to visually connect with other. It is used to expand communication option. This device is combined with high speed internet service
Video services, in the same fashion as telephone relay, video relay service can be accessed to allow the sign language user to call other hearing people with the assistance of an operator. As with other relay services, the operator identifies themselves and the relay call process. They then proceed to voice interpret the signed message from the caller. They are also able to convert the voice message into sign language for the deaf or hard of hearing person.
Alerting devices; these refers to assistive devices that connect with door bells, telephones, and other alarming devices. These devices add a specific alarm based on one’s disability, for instance a deaf individual can have a door bell that blinks a light instead of a noise to indicate someone is at the door.

Location Devices , these are devices which help a person with cognitive disorder to locate an item they lost  example of these devices is wireless doorbell, some key chain now they have an alarm to signal where they are  and you can attach one of the key chain to get the losted items at the time.
Technology for Augmenting memory loss, these are devices which help to augment the memory of the person with cognitive disability example are clock, calendar, telephones, personal data assistants, tape recorders and pages when used effective can increase an independent to a person with cognitive impairment.
Comforting Aids, these are technological asistive devices such as pillow, a doll, a favorite blanket, or some other personal items all of these make someone feel better. There is a hug machine consist of two hanged side boards the user sit on this machine which help to became more comfortable.
Medical Devices, these are devices which help people manage their medication example of them are pill holders come with divider for daily and weekly doses. A pill alarm sounds an alarm when medicine needs to be taken.

 Toileting chair; this refers to height adjustable chair for children can be used as commode chair, a potty or as standard chair. This chair has a wooden frame with height adjustable or fixed armrests for supports.
                                                       
White cane; is used by many people who are blind or visually impaired. Its primary mobility tool and as a courtesy to others, serving a slightly different need, it can be long cane or fold cane. In every day, blind people rely on a white cane for safety and independence and if you see a person with a completely white cane, this will usually mean they are blind or visually impaired.

Wheel chair; is a chair with wheels, also this device comes in variations allowing either manual propulsion by the seated occupant turning the rear wheels by hand, or electronic propulsion of motors. Through this there often handles behind the seat to allow it to be pushed by another person.  Below are diagrams of wheel chairs:
                
 Crutches; these are mobility aid that transfers weight from the legs to the upper body. It is often used for people who cannot use their legs to support their weight, for reasons ranging from short term injuries to lifelong disabilities. It is a good choice after a leg injury or surgery if you only need a little help with balance and stability.
